Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Contribute to frontend development using Vue.js or React.
- Work with relational databases to support application functionality and data-driven features.
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate technical needs into software solutions.
- Troubleshoot applications, implement enhancements, and support continuous improvement.
- Participate in Agile workflows, code reviews, and software development best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience building software or web applications through coursework, internships, co-ops, or project work.
- Foundational object-oriented programming experience, preferably in Python.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
- Experience using Git or other version control tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to learn quickly and contribute in a team environment.
- Desired qualifications include Django or Flask backend experience, Vue.js or React familiarity, Docker or containerization exposure, Agile experience with Scrum or Kanban, and collaborative internship, co-op, research, or project experience.
