Base Salary
$121k - $277k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple project teams and internal or outsourced development partners through all stages of complex software and platform development.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, test, integrate, and enhance software products.
- Manage relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
- Review designs and project activities for compliance with development standards and provide feedback to improve quality and reduce failure risk.
- Provide software systems leadership, domain expertise, architecture guidance, and cross-organization project support.
- Drive adoption and integration of new technologies and mentor less-experienced staff members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- Strong C/C++ system programming experience for enterprise-class software.
- Proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and multithreaded programming.
- Experience debugging issues in multithreaded and clustered environments.
- In-depth knowledge of operating system internals.
- Experience with software systems architecture for products and solutions.
- Preferred experience with high-performance storage data paths, distributed file systems, storage systems, high-availability clusters, memory management, performance tuning, or modeling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal communication, and architecture negotiation skills.
