Base Salary
$72k - $78k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create technical solutions for the existing WWMS application in collaboration with team and project leads.
- Configure routing for new warehouses, analyze traffic, code and improve action-point handling, and investigate routing issues.
- Develop and expand interfaces supporting new features and hardware components.
- Develop, test, and deploy change requests, projects, and assignments in collaborative or independent work settings.
- Support and improve existing and new applications and functionalities.
- Create technical documentation and specifications to support software maintainability.
- Collaborate with analyst teams during project ramp-up, development, testing, and post-acceptance activities.
- Participate in on-site project commissioning and ramp-up, with limited customer communication and independent decision-making appropriate to the employee’s knowledge level.
- Support North American projects and travel locally and internationally up to 60%.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C and good working knowledge of C++ are preferred.
- Demonstrated practical experience developing software in C/C++ environments, including project design, coding, testing, delivery, and technical documentation.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals, coding practices, and problem-solving techniques.
- Exposure to background processes, multithreading, and system-level programming concepts.
- Basic knowledge of PL/SQL.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience combined with some educational experience.
- Experience through GitHub projects, personal coding examples, class projects, previous professional assignments, self-study, online courses, or hands-on projects is considered.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with local and international colleagues and customers across technical and non-technical contexts.
- Ability to work collaboratively, support teammates under pressure, take responsibility, and solve complex problems.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps source control, debugging, and development workflows is helpful but not required.
- Exposure to logistics terminology and large codebases is helpful but not required.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally up to 60%.
