Base Salary
$70k - $129k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, architect, design, develop, test, integrate, verify, and modify software and system components.
- Develop embedded software features for optical networking products, services, systems, and tools.
- Own a key system component and serve as the recognized technical expert for its design and implementation.
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional R&D environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience using AI LLM, C++, SDL, and C++ Boost libraries.
- Development experience with C++ on Linux systems and associated compilers and debuggers.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality object-oriented software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience writing device drivers or BSP software is desirable.
- Knowledge of optical devices, OTN, Ethernet, or TDM protocols is desirable.
