Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical architectures balancing client requirements, budget, timelines, and technical constraints.
- Lead technical discovery, pre-sales engineering, RFP evaluation, solution conceptualization, and cost estimation with business development teams.
- Select and evaluate embedded, cloud, software, database, framework, and third-party integration technologies for client solutions.
- Guide engineering teams through architecture reviews, technical governance, best practices, mentorship, and complex troubleshooting.
- Develop hands-on prototypes and proofs of concept to validate architectures and reduce technical risk.
- Translate complex technical designs into value-focused communication for non-technical stakeholders and executive clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or systems design, including at least 3+ years in architecture or client-facing consulting.
- Advanced product design lifecycle experience with hands-on BSP and firmware development across multiple microcontrollers and microprocessors.
- Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, serverless computing, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and standards, production-line testing, and test fixtures.
- Ability to understand varied client business models, modernize poorly documented legacy systems, and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
