Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance scalable and highly concurrent ML and AI serving platforms.
- Develop backend services and infrastructure for machine learning and data science teams to train, build, deploy, and infer models at scale.
- Solve distributed systems problems involving concurrency, threading, multiprocessing, and high-throughput production systems.
- Profile, optimize, and debug applications and libraries.
- Debug complex cross-platform issues and improve ML workflow tuning for high accuracy.
- Develop design proposals and conduct thorough analysis of production issues.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience.
- At least 4 years of Python or Java expertise building production applications.
- Strong understanding of concurrency, threading, multiprocessing, language internals, data structures, and algorithms.
- Deep knowledge of machine learning and AI frameworks and ecosystems.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and CNCF containerization technologies.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical topics.
- Exposure to Ray, KServe, Triton, or other inference frameworks is preferred.
- Experience optimizing performance, debugging cross-platform issues, and tuning ML workflows is preferred.
- Knowledge of using generative AI to improve developer, user, and business productivity is preferred.
