Responsibilities
- Assist with the development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software components under senior engineer guidance.
- Support software development lifecycle activities including design, implementation, and testing.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Investigate and help resolve software defects.
- Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and development records.
- Apply secure coding principles and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, testers, DevOps engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Deliver software modules, features, bug fixes, documentation, and unit tests.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering fundamentals.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Git, SQL, and relational databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Written and spoken proficiency in English and French.
- Preferred exposure to REST APIs, microservices, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, GitLab CI, Jenkins, testing frameworks, React, or Angular.
