Base Salary
$100k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the infrastructure for Cytora’s serverless underwriting productivity web application.
- Manage single-tenant and multi-tenant, multi-region deployments across Europe, the United States, and Australia.
- Operate infrastructure on AWS and GCP using Terraform and related infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Own monitoring systems, logging, application performance monitoring, profiling, application security, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide technical feedback to product managers and the wider company, contribute to roadmaps, and suggest product features and improvements.
- Balance rapid delivery with the appropriate level of system complexity as the platform scales.
Requirements
- Strong proven experience with serverless technologies including Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, Aurora Serverless, GCP Vertex AI, and GCP BigQuery.
- Strong experience with AWS services including RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, SES, CloudFront, Secrets Manager, and Certificate Manager.
- Experience building and maintaining multi-region deployments.
- Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt, including infrastructure for single-tenant deployments.
- Experience using an object-oriented programming language, particularly Python.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including VPC configuration and security.
- Customer-centric, values-driven, collaborative, and strong communication skills.
- ECS and Fargate experience is a plus.
- Experience designing single-tenancy and multi-tenancy solutions is a plus.
- Experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters using AWS EKS is a plus.
- Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines with CircleCI is a plus.
- Experience with Datadog monitoring, logs, APM, profiling, and application security is a plus.
- Prior GCP experience, awareness of GDPR-compliant systems, event-driven serverless application experience, and familiarity with Cloudflare, Orca, or Vanta are pluses.
