Responsibilities
- Develop firmware for real-time embedded platforms.
- Write peripheral drivers based on microcontroller datasheets.
- Perform low-level programming on microcontrollers and real-time processors.
- Debug and troubleshoot software on hardware targets.
- Manage requirements and test cases.
- Collaborate with design and production teams.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of firmware-development languages including C, C++, Assembly, Python, and MATLAB.
- Experience with ARM microcontrollers, including NXP and STM32, as well as PIC, AVR, and Renesas microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet, CAN, LIN, and RS232/485 communication interfaces.
- Experience with JTAG and SWD debugging systems.
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and Jira for versioning and requirements/test management.
- Familiarity with DSP technologies, BLE, NFC, and RF.
- Preferred experience with TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, ZigBee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB communication protocols.
- Preferred knowledge of HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and cryptography.
- Preferred experience with Embedded Linux, Yocto, and the Linux kernel.
- Preferred knowledge of VxWorks, RTOS, and FreeRTOS.
- Advanced microcontroller programming experience is valued.
