Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of audio/video subsystems for automotive infotainment platforms.
- Integrate media frameworks, media services, hardware abstraction layers, and third-party services.
- Optimize audio routing, latency, synchronization, codec performance, video rendering, system stability, and performance.
- Collaborate with hardware, UX, application, silicon vendor, Tier-1 supplier, and OEM teams.
- Drive compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and ISO 21434 automotive standards.
- Work with Bluetooth A2DP, CarPlay, Android Auto, and streaming media services.
- Mentor engineers across audio/video, HAL, and embedded multimedia domains.
- Own the multimedia roadmap and contribute to infotainment platform strategy.
- Work with cross-functional teams globally.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computers, Electronics, or a related stream.
- Strong experience in embedded multimedia systems, including Android Automotive, QNX, or Linux.
- Proficiency in audio/video frameworks, HAL development, and low-level debugging.
- Familiarity with automotive-grade SoCs and DSPs for multimedia processing.
- Experience with CAN, Ethernet, I2S, and TDM.
- Knowledge of secure media playback, DRM, and infotainment system diagnostics.
- Proven leadership in large-scale infotainment programs with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
