Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the end-to-end architecture of the VisioGen platform, including patient chat, AI response generation, clinical review, clinic escalation, analytics, and integrations.
- Build cloud-native .NET Core microservices and event-driven services on Microsoft Azure using services such as AKS, App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Entra ID, Key Vault, and API Management.
- Design and scale production RAG and agentic GenAI pipelines, including embeddings, hybrid search, reranking, tool calling, orchestration, state management, prompt management, model routing, evaluation, and cost optimization.
- Guide the React and TypeScript engagement layer, including patient chat widgets, clinic dashboards, and reviewer consoles.
- Define integration architecture for clinic websites, EHRs/EMRs, CRMs, scheduling systems, marketing tools, messaging channels, webhooks, FHIR contracts, and events.
- Own security, privacy, compliance, threat modeling, data flows, PHI handling, encryption, access control, retention, and audit logging for HIPAA- and GDPR-aligned systems.
- Establish CI/CD, environment, versioning, feature-flag, branching, merge, release, rollout, rollback, SLA, SLO, and operational strategies.
- Set coding, design, testing, quality, and AI-assisted engineering standards while contributing to architecture reviews, code reviews, proofs of concept, and production development.
- Shape the engineering team, mentor engineers, grow technical leaders, support hiring, and partner with product on feasibility, estimation, and roadmap decisions.
- Serve as technical owner during clinic implementations and post-go-live stabilization and communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 12–20 years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years designing and scaling distributed systems or SaaS products in production.
- Deep, recent hands-on experience with .NET Core and C#.
- Strong hands-on experience building and operating production systems on Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience personally building and shipping RAG and/or agentic GenAI systems to production.
- Experience with microservices, containers, event-driven services, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and release management, with AKS preferred.
- Practical daily use of AI-assisted development tools and a track record of structuring teams and mentoring engineers.
- React and TypeScript full-stack experience is preferred.
- Healthcare technology experience involving HIPAA, GDPR, PHI, HL7/FHIR, EHR/EMR integrations, patient engagement, or clinical workflows is preferred.
- Experience with WhatsApp Business API, LINE, Viber, Messenger, chatbot products, CRMs, scheduling systems, or marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zapier is preferred.
- Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks, vector databases, AI observability tools, regulated or gated software release environments, and global teams or US customers is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, architecture communication, and technical leadership skills are required.
