Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced software engineers on electro-optical and infrared systems projects.
- Conduct limited-scope software testing under the supervision of software engineers.
- Provide regular reporting of progress and status.
- Gather and assemble data.
- Conduct design analysis and calculations under supervision.
- Communicate and support the organization’s mission, values, and culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Be ranked as a junior or senior in academic standing.
- Be enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science department at an accredited university.
- Have completed a formal data structures course.
- Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Have knowledge and experience with one or more of C, C++, or C#.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Be a U.S. citizen and able to access U.S.-only data systems.
- Have an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable time after employment begins.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently and on a team.
