Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with experienced software engineers on electro-optical and infrared systems projects.
  • Conduct limited-scope software testing under the supervision of software engineers.
  • Provide regular reporting of progress and status.
  • Gather and assemble data.
  • Conduct design analysis and calculations under supervision.
  • Communicate and support the organization’s mission, values, and culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Be ranked as a junior or senior in academic standing.
  • Be enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science department at an accredited university.
  • Have completed a formal data structures course.
  • Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA.
  • Have knowledge and experience with one or more of C, C++, or C#.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Be a U.S. citizen and able to access U.S.-only data systems.
  • Have an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable time after employment begins.
  • Have strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently and on a team.
