Responsibilities
- Define and implement software, product, platform, and service architectures for current and upcoming release-train features.
- Ensure solutions meet nonfunctional requirements and align technical architecture with business goals.
- Assist scrum teams with architecture and design decisions and perform occasional code development.
- Decompose and partition systems while reusing common and domain-specific platforms and technologies.
- Lead innovation efforts, technical negotiations, and cross-disciplinary and supplier collaborations.
- Apply knowledge of healthcare standards, customer environments, compliance requirements, and FDA regulations.
- Mentor junior team members and influence senior managers and other stakeholders on critical technical decisions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
- At least 8 years of experience with a master’s degree or at least 6 years with a doctorate in software development, software design, or architecture.
- Technical leadership experience with the ability to influence stakeholders on critical technical decisions.
- Experience with software architecture, software development, and the software development life cycle.
- Coding experience in C#, C++, or Java.
- Familiarity with WPF, WCF, object-oriented design rules, design patterns, WinDbg, and dotMemory.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and complete module development with minimal supervision.
