Responsibilities
- Design and develop test software using LabVIEW and strategies defined with technical and optical specialists.
- Launch, qualify, and transfer test solutions into production on test benches.
- Develop software components and instrument drivers that interface with test instruments and databases or other tools.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for test and calibration stations.
- Validate delivered functionality, participate in code reviews and best-practice discussions, and document developed modules.
- Estimate programming tasks and provide technical leadership and support to other team members.
- Work with production, service centers, and multidisciplinary engineering specialists.
Requirements
- Three years of relevant software-development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, physical engineering, or equivalent.
- Mandatory proficiency in LabVIEW programming and demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LabVIEW applications.
- Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language such as C# or C++.
- Advanced French and functional English proficiency.
- Knowledge of optics, instrument-driver coding, SQL Server/MSDE databases, source-management methods, and version control is an asset.
- Ability to work independently on software aspects of projects and produce technical documentation.
