Base Salary
$170k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Convex’s client libraries, sync protocol, and query APIs.
- Support new frameworks and track emerging technologies in app development.
- Develop an understanding of scalable abstractions within the stack.
- Prioritize projects in collaboration with the engineering team and CTO.
- Establish good practices and design guidelines as the team scales.
- Write high-quality client library code.
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience building APIs, client libraries, or developer tools.
- Strong understanding of TypeScript, React, and web development best practices.
- Experience or enthusiasm for scaling in a high-growth startup environment.
- Desire to work in-person at Convex's office in San Francisco.
- Ability to write high-quality code with strong TypeScript experience.
- Deep understanding of Convex systems and willingness to explore all layers of the stack.
