Responsibilities
- Work on impactful customer technical projects including designing reference architectures.
- Collaborate with engagement managers to scope professional services work based on customer input.
- Guide customers in implementing big data projects and migrations, ensuring successful deployment of applications.
- Consult on architecture and design, facilitating customer understanding and adoption of Databricks.
- Provide escalated support for customer operational issues and ensure technical components meet customer needs.
- Work with engineering and support teams to resolve product and implementation issues.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
- Proficient in Python or Scala programming languages.
- Knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
- Deep experience with Apache Spark and understanding of its runtime internals.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes for production deployments.
- Experience in managing technical project delivery, including scope and timelines.
