Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Corestream, Kharon’s risk intelligence feed.
- Redesign and improve semantic search using BM25 tuning, semantic distance, RAG, and reranking.
- Integrate risk analysis and graph-based insights into search results and sub-network exploration.
- Drive the evolution of the narrative generation pipeline transforming graph and analytical data into written intelligence.
- Partner with Product and Engineering on the Corestream roadmap and independently drive initiatives.
- Optimize metrics for search quality and narrative relevance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a Data Science or AI Engineering role.
- Hands-on semantic search experience, including BM25, vector search, reranking, and retrieval evaluation.
- Experience with RAG pipelines and agentic systems in production.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Proven interest or experience in global security, financial crimes, sanctions, export controls, or related domains.
- Strong product alignment and ability to independently own tickets and initiatives.
- Experience with graph-aware search or integrating knowledge graph outputs into retrieval systems is a bonus.
Benefits
- Annual remuneration of €85,000–€95,000 plus a discretionary annual bonus.
- Monthly pay frequency.
- Full-time hybrid work arrangement with three days per week in the office in Madrid.
- 180-day probationary period.
