Base Salary
$164k - $247k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and build the GI product line from scratch and deliver large production software projects.
- Write, review, maintain, and ship high-quality code across the product’s technology stack.
- Lead complex roadmap projects and drive cross-team initiatives from idea through launch, measurement, and iteration.
- Improve testing, observability, reliability, accessibility, performance, maintainability, and availability.
- Run A/B or multivariate experiments and use results and member feedback to guide product decisions.
- Integrate AI technologies to automate processes and enhance product features.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, design discussions, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, and data/analytics partners across San Francisco, Montreal, and Bangalore.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of non-internship, full-time professional software development experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 4 years of experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience delivering large software projects or features in a production environment.
- Preferred experience with React Native, TypeScript/Node.js, Go, GraphQL, AWS services, client-performance tooling, render optimization, DevOps, and application architecture patterns.
- Preferred experience running product experiments, operating integrations across multiple platforms, developing consumer-facing apps at scale, and working in healthcare or other regulated environments involving sensitive data.
- Ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with product, design, and data/analytics partners.
