Base Salary
$120k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, reliable, and flexible applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and Angular
- Design, implement, and use RESTful web services
- Develop modern, responsive web interfaces for a variety of devices
- Participate in software development, prototyping, testing, and code reviews with a small development team
- Write robust unit and end-to-end tests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of the degree
- At least 3 years of experience with TypeScript or JavaScript
- At least 3 years of full-stack development experience
- Experience with Jupyter notebooks and open-source application or dashboard projects such as Shiny, Streamlit, or Solara
- Experience with Node.js, Angular, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Experience with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks
- Experience using and leveraging generative AI technologies such as CursorAI, Cline, or Windsurf
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, technical writing, and attention-to-detail skills
- Familiarity working in an Agile environment and building visually appealing, intuitive user interfaces
