Responsibilities
- Develop automated test frameworks and scripts with high coverage and scalability.
- Create and execute functional, API, and automated tests for web-based applications.
- Analyze test results, diagnose and repair broken test cases, and document defects.
- Collaborate with software development and quality assurance teams to align testing strategies with requirements and business goals.
- Review peer automation scripts and front-end code, repair simple production bugs, and support software release quality.
- Provide technical leadership, testing consultation, mentoring, and code reviews for junior engineers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and automation best practices while exercising independent judgment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent coursework, relevant experience, or extensive related professional experience may be considered.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with functional testing of web-based applications, API testing, test automation, Playwright, BDD/Gherkin test design, Java, Python, TypeScript, SQL, GitHub, and Azure.
- Knowledge of software testing life cycle and manual testing fundamentals.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
