Responsibilities
- Own Ethernet or InfiniBand network adapter and DPU deployment issues from inception through resolution.
- Develop features and tools supporting NVIDIA Enterprise Services and Networking products.
- Help enterprise customers and internal users improve the availability, reliability, and overall experience of NVIDIA Networking products.
- Analyze, communicate, and solve complex customer problems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to document, recreate, and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of system software development and troubleshooting experience, ideally including customer-facing work.
- Experience developing C/C++ in kernel, application-space, or embedded software environments.
- Strong understanding of GNU/Linux tools, utilities, kernels, networking stacks, and Linux-based virtualization including namespaces, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Professional communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, self-motivation, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
- Preferred experience with InfiniBand, RDMA, RoCE, DPUs, DPDK, HPC applications, MPI, UCX, OVS, and datacenter networking protocols and technologies.
- Preferred ability to analyze IP, Layer 2 switching, Layer 3 routing, and related networking protocols.
- Contributions to networking-related open-source projects are preferred.
