Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance, highly available mobile applications.
- Design scalable and maintainable React Native solutions and mobile architectures.
- Lead technical mobile-development initiatives and mentor junior and semi-senior developers.
- Define development, quality, and architecture standards for the team.
- Conduct code reviews and make technical decisions aligned with engineering best practices.
- Design and implement integrations between mobile applications and backend services.
- Ensure compliance with security and architecture standards.
- Design automated testing strategies and establish code-quality and coverage metrics.
- Plan releases and contribute to the technical evolution and continuous improvement of the mobile ecosystem.
- Implement and maintain native modules and reusable libraries for mobile applications.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in mobile software development.
- Strong experience developing applications with React Native.
- Experience leading technical teams or mobile-development initiatives.
- Experience defining development standards, mobile architecture, and scalable solutions from scratch.
- Experience performing code reviews and making technical decisions.
- Experience developing custom native modules in Java, Kotlin, Swift, and Objective-C and integrating native functionality into React Native applications.
- Experience defining unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of mobile architecture and modularization.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Preferred experience managing Development, Staging, and Production environments.
- Preferred knowledge of advanced mobile security strategies, root/jailbreak detection, code obfuscation, OWASP Mobile Security, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
- Preferred experience with monorepos, mobile micro frontends, multi-application ecosystems, observability, logging, monitoring, performance analysis, technical roadmaps, and release planning.
- Open Source participation or experience developing reusable technology is desirable.
