Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Optimize architectures, algorithms, AWS services, and customer applications for performance.
  • Use Aperf, sysstat, sysctl, and perf to identify bottlenecks and analyze processor, operating system, and workload metrics.
  • Contribute improvements to the Linux kernel and other open-source projects.
  • Enhance APerf and build performance-analysis features, frameworks, and automation systems.
  • Support software migrations and optimization for AWS Graviton-based environments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
