Base Salary
$106k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, integrate, test, debug, and maintain embedded flight software for satellite and payload systems.
- Translate customer requirements and integrate software with specialized hardware components.
- Analyze software efficiency and stability and produce design, test, and program documentation.
- Conduct Cyber Vulnerability Analysis and design cyber monitoring algorithms for satellite processing platforms.
- Develop custom tools and processes for configuration automation and development workflow improvement.
- Support software safety, assurance, quality, engineering excellence, and compliance with industry and customer standards.
- At senior levels, lead technical design, integration, testing, stakeholder coordination, supplier performance evaluation, and software project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems.
- At least 2 years of software development experience using C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance after starting; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government.
- Preferred qualifications include 5 or more years of related experience for Level 3 or 9 or more years for Level 4, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
- Preferred experience includes the full software development lifecycle through Formal Qualification, embedded real-time software, GitLab, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, Wireshark, network analysis tools, debuggers, and automated software builds and tests.
