Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of security solutions for smart indoor climate-control devices.
- Help migrate application and communication software from legacy microcontrollers to modern platforms.
- Develop and test secure boot, over-the-air updates, and firmware-verification features.
- Verify and debug embedded systems through unit testing and troubleshooting directly on hardware.
- Explore AI tools to streamline coding, debugging, and development processes.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Coursework or project experience with embedded C programming and an interest in IoT firmware development.
- Familiarity with wireless protocols such as Zigbee, Matter, BLE, Wi-Fi, or LoRaWAN.
- Foundational understanding of memory management for resource-constrained systems.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity principles and secure product development.
