Responsibilities

Build and operate security engineering capabilities across on-premise, multi-cloud, and SaaS environments.
Deploy, configure, maintain, and tune SIEM, EDR, logging, monitoring, alerting, and threat-intelligence integrations for a hybrid SOC.
Implement security architecture, standards, policies, and best practices for cloud infrastructure, SaaS applications, and internal tooling.
Develop and maintain detection rules and automated response playbooks for continuous threat detection.
Support incident-response remediation of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations with engineering teams.
Partner with product engineering, DevOps, and QA to integrate security best practices, threat modeling, secure coding, and secure deployment practices.
Evaluate and adopt security tools and techniques to improve organizational defenses.

4–6 years of hands-on security engineering or implementation experience in cloud-based and SaaS environments, ideally across multiple clouds.
Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, network segmentation, encryption, key management, secrets management, firewalls, SIEM, EDR, and logging or monitoring.
Hands-on scripting or automation experience with tools such as Python, PowerShell, Terraform, or Yara.
Experience with incident response, detection engineering, and vulnerability management systems.
Understanding of secure software development lifecycle practices and collaboration with development and operations teams.
Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical-mitigation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud-security credentials are preferred.
