Responsibilities
- Architect and build enterprise-grade APIs and establish patterns for platform-level features across web and mobile.
- Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from concept through production with end-to-end ownership.
- Pioneer and launch complex integrations with critical data suppliers.
- Shape the strategic direction and productionization of complex data models, attributes, and scores.
- Define and evolve core platform architecture for scalability across multiple product use cases.
- Influence the company’s technical roadmap and strategic direction in partnership with engineering and product leadership.
- Establish engineering best practices, improve code review and QA processes, and optimize on-call practices.
- Mentor engineers and strengthen the organization’s technical culture and capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including experience in high-growth or early-stage startups.
- Deep fluency in modern software technologies and architectural patterns, with the ability to learn and ramp into the company’s stack.
- Demonstrated ability to define technical strategy and lead complex, ambiguous initiatives.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, influence, and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.

- U.S. base salary of $212,500-$260,200 USD per year.
- Canadian base salary of $190,000-$233,489 CAD per year.
