Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and tuning of detection signatures across various security platforms.
- Support incident response and digital forensics efforts.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to account misuse and privilege escalation.
- Collaborate with fraud analysts and compliance teams to enhance high-risk workflows.
- Create and operationalize detection logic for insider and fraud scenarios.
- Share best practices in threat modeling and detection with the engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in security engineering or detection engineering focused on insider threat or fraud risk.
- Experience building and operating detection and monitoring solutions like SIEM and EDR.
- Expertise in designing DLP controls and understanding insider scenarios.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and their impact on security.
- Experience with incident response and digital forensics.
