Responsibilities

  • Own technical deployment requests from frontier AI labs, data vendors, and internal teams from triage through completion.
  • Clarify ambiguous requests and determine the appropriate technical solution.
  • Build tools and one-off pipelines for urgent customer and partner problems.
  • Coordinate with research and go-to-market teams to unblock deployments.
  • Balance speed and quality when customers need rapid solutions and requirements are incomplete.
  • Document recurring issues and convert repeated manual work into reusable tools or processes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python, Docker, and Linux environments.
  • Experience with benchmarks and evaluations, including realistic tasks, reliable rubrics, usable environments, and useful trajectories for reinforcement-learning training.
  • Strong debugging ability across code, data, and environments.
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations without a fully prescribed roadmap.
  • Sound judgment about speed, escalation, correctness, and security.
  • Comfort working directly with technical customers, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Experience in applied research engineering or forward-deployed engineering is beneficial.
  • Experience handling urgent production, customer, or deployment issues is beneficial.
  • Early-stage startup experience and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments are beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills for remote collaboration across time zones are beneficial.
  • Technical aptitude and learning potential are prioritized over years of experience.
