Responsibilities
- Support development and maintenance of Quality Control applications using Python, Next.js, Power Apps, and related tools.
- Develop features, troubleshoot issues, participate in code reviews, testing, version control, and application deployment.
- Maintain QC platforms including CheckIT, SolveIT, and the CoolIT Issue Tracker.
- Automate inspection workflows and other manual Quality processes.
- Support Microsoft Azure applications, APIs, databases, and integrations with company systems.
- Develop SQL queries, datasets, basic data models, automated reports, data visualizations, and Power BI dashboards.
- Collaborate with Quality, IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other teams to gather requirements and support digital improvement initiatives.
- Provide user support and documentation while maintaining technical records, traceability, audit readiness, and compliance with IT, cybersecurity, and data governance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 0–2 years of software development, automation, systems, or data-related experience; relevant co-op, internship, academic, or project experience will be considered.
- Working knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript, basic web application development, modern development frameworks, SQL, and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes Microsoft Azure, Next.js, Power Apps, Power BI, APIs, system integrations, manufacturing or industrial environments, ERP, MES, Quality Management Systems, quality traceability, or ISO 9001 requirements.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and modern software development practices is preferred.
- Interest in automation, data analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
