Base Salary
$250k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Stand up new services that improve the safety, reliability, and accuracy of access control systems.
- Examine and improve existing modalities of access control management.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver value to customers from start to finish.
- Design MVPs with strong technical foundations and iterate based on product feedback.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering or coding experience.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience creating and supporting APIs (REST, JSON/HTTP, GraphQL).
- Proficiency in Typescript or Kotlin for writing, maintaining, and debugging production code.
- Domain knowledge in message queues, sharding, auto scaling, and access patterns.
- Strong understanding of software engineering patterns and anti-patterns.
