Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high-performance diagnostic tools and frameworks using Python.
- Optimize diagnostic software for high-throughput data processing and real-time monitoring.
- Develop features that connect complex hardware behavior with software-level diagnostics.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and driver teams to solve system and customer-facing challenges.
- Own diagnostic features through the full software development lifecycle, from hardware specification to deployment.
- Investigate and resolve complex system-level performance and hardware issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development lifecycle experience in performance-critical systems.
- Advanced Python programming skills for optimized, efficient, and scalable hardware-interfacing software.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, InfiniBand, or Ethernet networking protocols and hardware-level interaction.
- Strong familiarity with Linux environments, debugging tools, and system-level performance tuning.
- Strong analytical, debugging, collaboration, organization, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with performance profiling, optimization, PCIe, I2C, C/C++, real-time embedded development, Linux driver development, technical leadership, mentoring, and root-causing complex system-level issues.
