Base Salary
$118k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own Salesforce DevOps practices, processes, tools, release management activities, and governance.
- Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize Copado as the enterprise Salesforce DevOps platform.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows across multiple Salesforce organizations, environments, and release streams.
- Define release governance, branching strategies, code promotion processes, environment management strategies, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Support source code management and repository administration using Azure DevOps and related tools.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues, environment conflicts, source control challenges, and pipeline failures.
- Develop a long-term roadmap for Salesforce DevOps maturity, automation, platform stability, and operational excellence.
- Monitor deployment performance, platform health, release quality, and DevOps metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance on DevOps, release management, and CI/CD practices.
- Participate in production releases, release rehearsals, system maintenance, after-hours deployments, and production support.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, change management, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in software development, DevOps engineering, release engineering, or application lifecycle management.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce platform experience supporting enterprise-scale implementations.
- Expert-level experience administering and implementing Copado in complex Salesforce environments.
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce deployment methodologies, metadata management, environment strategies, and release management.
- Advanced experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, plus strong experience with Commerce Cloud deployment and release workflows.
- Expert knowledge of Azure DevOps repositories, branching strategies, pull request workflows, and source control management.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments, teams, and application platforms.
- Strong understanding of Git-based source control, branching models, merge strategies, and version management.
- Experience developing DevOps roadmaps, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and working across technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to participate in after-hours deployments, production support, and release activities.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud, Salesforce or Copado certifications, regulated or healthcare environments, enterprise integrations, middleware, cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, DevOps maturity models, release metrics, Azure services, and cloud-native application delivery.
