2027 Software Engineering (AI Concentration) Consulting Intern
West MonroeResponsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to design and develop software applications.
- Work directly with clients to understand their business needs and strategies.
- Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize information, and support data-driven recommendations.
- Apply generative AI, automation tools, data models, and related AI technologies to improve delivery efficiency and client outcomes.
- Learn and use technologies across backend, frontend, mobile, databases, cloud, DevOps, source control, package management, and testing.
- Work using an iterative product delivery approach and receive mentorship from software engineering, product development, and consulting professionals.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area, with expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future limitation or sponsorship.
- Have experience integrating AI tools such as ChatGPT into daily workflows and the ability to evaluate accuracy, mitigate bias, and assess output quality.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking, communication, collaboration, organization, leadership, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
- Reside within 50 miles of the assigned office before the internship begins.
- Be willing to travel up to 50%.
