Base Salary
$170k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across teams to build a secure, stable, cost-effective infrastructure platform that enables rapid iteration
- Build and maintain the cloud infrastructure stack and CI/CD pipelines
- Design and implement infrastructure monitoring and alerting
- Help elevate the security, stability, and performance of services across a multi-continent infrastructure
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or software engineering
- Strong experience with GCP or AWS
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or Istio
- Experience with one or more scripting or programming languages, preferably Java or Python
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills in highly distributed environments
- Proficiency using AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code throughout the software development lifecycle
- Bonus: financial payments technology experience, cloud networking expertise, GCP technologies such as Spanner, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub, and large-scale distributed systems experience
