Base Salary
$79k - $113k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy shop-monitoring software applications for real-time manufacturing insights.
- Extend and enhance existing MES systems through software development and integration.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade MES hardware, software, equipment, networks, operating systems, databases, and application servers.
- Develop and maintain software for environmental data gathering and assembly repair reporting.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure Kubernetes clusters.
- Create automation scripts for provisioning, scaling, and managing Kubernetes environments.
- Monitor MES system performance and stability, troubleshoot root causes, and resolve production issues.
- Conduct programming, system, hardware/software interface, and feasibility testing, including design, coding, debugging, and documentation.
- Run customer reports, create MES procedures and documentation, and train MES technicians and users.
- Communicate with clients, perform purchasing for project hardware, software, and services, and serve as the primary subject matter expert for an assigned shop.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT.
- Intermediate or advanced coding proficiency with C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, and WinForms.
- Experience with Vue, Java, Spring Boot, .NET Framework, Nginx, Tomcat, and Microsoft technologies.
- Knowledge of MariaDB, Tibero, Oracle, SQL Server, Windows, Linux, RHEL, Red Hat, Debian, Amazon Linux, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, APIs, and ecosystem tools such as Helm and Kustomize.
- Proficiency with automation and scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of business processes related to MES and basic knowledge of PLCs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Preferred certifications include A+, Microsoft certifications, manufacturing or MES certifications, CISA, PMP, CKA, and CKAD.
