Base Salary
$140k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement autonomous agents on the Quartermaster platform for SRE, DevOps, and DBA workflows.
- Build robust agent architectures with planning, reasoning, and error recovery capabilities.
- Integrate agents with infrastructure tooling like Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud APIs.
- Define metrics for agent effectiveness and build evaluation frameworks.
- Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and platform engineering teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Contribute to the technical vision for AI agents in infrastructure operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems that autonomously plan and execute tasks.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Aliyun) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong system design skills for architecting reliable and scalable agent systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global environment.
