Base Salary

$90k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Achieve Authorization to Operate approvals for Palantir software across multiple government customers with minimal oversight
  • Provide customer service, policy expertise, and high-quality security documentation
  • Translate NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 regulatory language into actionable technical requirements
  • Create System Security Plans, architecture diagrams, and other body-of-evidence artifacts
  • Represent Palantir during government security assessments and audits
  • Connect technical operations, executive leadership, and government partners to develop robust security architecture and communicate technical and compliance risks
  • Partner with Business Development teams to develop security architecture plans

Requirements

  • Active U.S. DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance and willingness to upgrade and maintain a higher access level
  • Proven cybersecurity experience in a U.S. Government context
  • Proficiency interpreting and communicating government policy to diverse audiences
  • Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise infrastructure and security solutions across Linux, Kubernetes, and multi-cloud environments
  • Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms, security-as-code, automated compliance gating, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub workflows
  • Experience designing, building, and managing systems
  • Knowledge of information security fundamentals, including authentication, encryption, networking, vulnerability scanning, and audit logs
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as needed; 25% travel is preferred depending on location
