Base Salary
$90k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Achieve Authorization to Operate approvals for Palantir software across multiple government customers with minimal oversight
- Provide customer service, policy expertise, and high-quality security documentation
- Translate NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 regulatory language into actionable technical requirements
- Create System Security Plans, architecture diagrams, and other body-of-evidence artifacts
- Represent Palantir during government security assessments and audits
- Connect technical operations, executive leadership, and government partners to develop robust security architecture and communicate technical and compliance risks
- Partner with Business Development teams to develop security architecture plans
Requirements
- Active U.S. DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance and willingness to upgrade and maintain a higher access level
- Proven cybersecurity experience in a U.S. Government context
- Proficiency interpreting and communicating government policy to diverse audiences
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise infrastructure and security solutions across Linux, Kubernetes, and multi-cloud environments
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms, security-as-code, automated compliance gating, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub workflows
- Experience designing, building, and managing systems
- Knowledge of information security fundamentals, including authentication, encryption, networking, vulnerability scanning, and audit logs
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as needed; 25% travel is preferred depending on location
