Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software engineering lifecycle and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain applications, infrastructure, and platforms according to changing requirements and established processes.
- Design, develop, code, and enhance applications, features, infrastructure, and application frameworks.
- Build and develop REST APIs and SOAP services for system integrations.
- Provide technical guidance and instruction to junior-level engineers and mentor technical teams.
- Test, debug, and oversee application testing and validation for quality, functionality, and security compliance.
- Resolve production defects within defined service-level agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Two to five years of experience developing across front-end/UI, middle/services, and back-end/database layers.
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams developing and supporting modern web applications.
- Experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, WebSphere MQ, Entity Framework, IIS, RESTful APIs, Angular or jQuery, AWS, load balancers, and SQL Server.
- Experience designing data models and structures for different data formats and using monitoring systems such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of virtualization, containerization, DevOps workflow tools including Azure DevOps Services, and the Atlassian Suite.
- Experience in financial services or banking is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple deliverables and deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and communicate well in writing and verbally.
