Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, direction, and guidance to the development team.
- Split time between hands-on software development and software architecture and solution design.
- Design, develop, and maintain Java and Spring Boot backend services.
- Design and develop microservices-based and AWS serverless solutions, including asynchronous and distributed systems.
- Work with TypeScript and SQL and NoSQL data solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub-based development, and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with domain architects, developers, DevOps professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Support scalable, reliable, maintainable software and communicate technical concepts across teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Proven experience in Tech Lead or Team Lead roles with strong technical leadership and collaboration skills.
- Advanced Java backend development and Spring Boot experience.
- Experience with TypeScript, AWS serverless development, microservices architecture, and software architecture concepts.
- Database experience covering SQL and NoSQL, plus GitHub, asynchronous programming, Unix/Linux, and CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with Agile delivery models including Scrum, SAFe, and/or Kanban.
- Minimum graduation or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Must be comfortable remaining hands-on with development rather than working solely in an architectural or managerial capacity.
- Preferred qualifications include automotive or automotive connectivity experience, AWS CDK, AWS CodePipeline, Docker, load testing, application profiling, and performance optimization.
