Base Salary
$125k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain flight code-generation tooling for flight software and GNC engineers
- Maintain core flight software features shared across satellite products
- Identify and fix slow or error-prone aspects of embedded software development
- Create tools and processes that enable fast, accurate, and user-friendly development and operational systems
- Work with ground software teams to simplify constellation operations
- Own the full software lifecycle from conception through testing and maintenance
- Work extended hours and weekends when needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or another STEM discipline, or 2+ years of software development experience
- Development experience in C/C++, Python, or similar programming languages
- Knowledge of Bazel, C++, Python, and Bash is preferred
- Experience improving performance bottlenecks in build systems and embedded environments is preferred
- Experience designing developer-focused user interfaces is preferred
- Experience with fault-tolerant, distributed, or real-time embedded systems is preferred
- Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery systems is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in changing and dynamic environments and communicate across teams
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR authorization requirements

- Base salary range of $125,000-$200,000 per year, plus potential stock or long-term cash awards, discretionary bonuses, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan eligibility
