Base Salary
$190k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own perception architecture for detection, tracking, classification, and sensor fusion across the targeting chain.
- Develop ML models and training pipelines and deploy them on-device.
- Build multi-sensor fusion capabilities across EO/IR and other relevant sensors.
- Optimize perception systems for real-time performance on embedded targets and within latency budgets.
- Mentor perception engineers as the team grows.
- Partner with controls, robotics software, hardware, and leadership to define and deliver achievable system capabilities.
- Participate in weekly field testing and range events.
Requirements
- 5+ years building and shipping perception systems on real hardware.
- Strong Python and C++ skills with deep machine learning engineering experience.
- Experience with computer vision, tracking, and detection in real-time, real-world conditions.
- Experience deploying models on-device using TensorRT, ONNX, or equivalent.
- Track record optimizing perception for embedded compute and latency budgets.
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or equivalent; demonstrated track record may outweigh the degree.
- Experience shipping perception systems against real targets rather than only conducting research or offline batch processing.
