Base Salary

$187k - $233k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and debugging of enterprise capabilities for Fivetran's largest customers.
Manage and lead multiple projects, coordinating with stakeholders for timely delivery.
Maintain and improve existing enterprise features and advocate for codebase improvements.
Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, scalability, and reliability through testing and reviews.
Collaborate on cross-functional projects to create innovative solutions.
Enhance the reliability and security of Fivetran's data infrastructure.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and advocate for new tools and methodologies.
Assist Customer Success and GTM teams in challenging customer situations.
Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

10+ years of experience in the software industry with a focus on complex engineering problems.
Strong knowledge of OOP, preferably in Java.
Experience in database and query performance tuning.
Ability to leverage AI agents to improve engineering efficiency.
Proven track record of leading and delivering large projects.
Proficient in defining project requirements and designing software solutions.
Experience in breaking down customer requirements into engineering tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills to unlock valuable use cases for customers.
Ability to suggest and implement improvements in existing code.
Enjoy mentoring and developing junior developers.
Strong written and verbal English skills for complex analysis.
