Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, low-latency C++ software for defense applications, systems, and infrastructure.
- Develop robust and scalable solutions for complex algorithmic, memory-management, performance, and resource-management challenges.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems engineers, and software teams to integrate C++ components.
- Debug, test, and profile C++ code to resolve performance bottlenecks and improve reliability and stability.
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation through testing and deployment.
Requirements
- A strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or physics.
- At least three years of professional experience developing complex, high-performance software with modern C++.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement performant, efficient, and resource-conscious systems.
- Ability to quickly understand and contribute to large, mature C++ codebases and complex system architectures.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
- Passion for building critical software for impactful real-world applications.
