Base Salary
$110k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, operate, and maintain software components and computing systems software integrated with engineering, hardware, and manufacturing requirements.
- Develop new and enhanced software solutions using advanced C++ skills and embedded system development practices.
- Independently determine solutions to complex technical problems and produce high-quality, error-free software that meets requirements.
- Coordinate testing scripts, documentation, and deployment schedules with Quality Assurance, Training, and Documentation departments.
- Apply software development best practices, including functional specifications, code reviews, revision control, and unit testing.
- Create and review development design documentation and recommend improvements to department processes and procedures.
- Interact with customers to obtain feedback about system stability and reliability and maintain customer relationships.
- Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and regularly function in a project leadership role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, certification from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
- 8–11 years of extensive programming experience with C, C++, or Java.
- Experience with embedded system development and related tools.
- Experience with C++, Linux, GCC compiler, multithreaded applications, socket APIs, and GUI development.
- Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently with all levels of the business, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses.
- Experience with OpenGL, graphics engines, HTML, XML, JSON, GTK, Boost, network protocols, and Gtest is preferred.
- Experience with casino management systems and embedded SAS protocol development is preferred.
- Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, accuracy, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be flexible to travel 0–10% or as business requires.
