Headphones Embedded Software Engineer

- Define software strategy and technical vision for headphone products, including embedded firmware and interfaces for mobile applications and cloud services.
- Translate product ambitions into practical software deliverables and contribute to cross-functional product development and approval processes.
- Understand external engineering resources, workloads, commitments, and delivery against agreed plans.
- Champion software quality, maintainability, reuse, automated verification, and long-term product support.
- Communicate technical trade-offs and build consensus across embedded, app, cloud, quality, product, project, and leadership stakeholders.
Requirements
- Highly experienced in developing and testing embedded software using C and Python.
- Highly experienced in delivering clear, concise, well-documented, commercially compliant code.
- Understanding of embedded systems and device drivers.
- Familiarity with using AI tools to support efficiency, problem-solving, and quality.
- An undergraduate degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related science is listed as a bonus qualification.
- Hands-on familiarity with Jira and Confluence, build-system best practices, GitHub repository management and workflows, and automated testing is preferred.
- Knowledge of Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy, or interest in the audio market, is preferred.
