Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Scrum team members and stakeholders on plans, designs, specifications, source code, test scripts, and documentation.
- Build software solutions and contribute working software and test automation scripts.
- Develop foundational debugging skills and use troubleshooting tools to resolve software issues.
- Learn and contribute to service architecture while avoiding code duplication and interface-breaking changes.
- Apply secure software design, development, and delivery practices.
- Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve productivity, quality, problem-solving, and workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Be a student available for the two-block co-op program from January 2027 through August 2027.
- Have at least three years of education and/or prior co-op experience.
- Have familiarity with Java, Angular, Oracle, OpenShift, Python, and/or ASP.NET.
- Have familiarity with test automation, object-oriented programming, RESTful web services, and relational databases.
- Be based in the Rochester, NY area and available to work on-site at least three days per week, with five days preferred.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in the ethical, secure, and compliant use of AI technologies and maintain accountability for final work products.
