Base Salary
$121k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship AI-powered product features using LLMs, NLP, and agent-based workflows.
- Develop backend services and APIs supporting model inference, orchestration, and tool execution.
- Implement LLM workflows, retrieval/RAG systems, and goal-oriented agent behaviors.
- Design and implement scalable frontend and backend product experiences.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and ML engineers to integrate, evaluate, and productionize models.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code; participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience building backend or full-stack applications.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one of Java, Go, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, NLP, or ML-powered features.
- Familiarity with APIs, distributed systems, and backend services.
- Understanding of prompting, embeddings, and model inference.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals, including testing, debugging, and system design.
- Experience with agentic systems, workflows, orchestration frameworks, RAG architecture design and evaluation, cloud platforms, or AI-first product teams is preferred.
