Responsibilities
- Collaborate with AMD architecture specialists to improve future products.
- Use data-driven analysis to target software and application optimization efforts.
- Design and develop new AMD technologies.
- Participate in new ASIC and hardware bring-ups.
- Debug and fix existing issues and research more efficient approaches.
- Monitor software and hardware trends, particularly algorithms and architecture.
- Build technical relationships with peers and partners.
Requirements
- Strong object-oriented programming background with C/C++ preferred.
- Ability to write high-quality code with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs.
- Experience developing for Windows, Linux, and/or Android.
- Experience with debuggers, source code control systems such as GitHub, and profilers is preferred.
- Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
