Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, improve, and deliver high-quality banking software solutions.
  • Support the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects according to budget, quality, and governance standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
  • Apply secure coding, unit testing, code review, and software development lifecycle practices.
  • Support complex mission-critical systems, including environments with substantial batch processing.
  • Manage risk, strengthen controls, follow applicable policies and regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Guide team members, coordinate resources, and act as a technical advisor or stakeholder contact where applicable.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of banking products and experience with Avaloq or another core banking solution such as Finacle, T24, or BaNCS.
  • In-depth financial services experience in complex business and architecture environments.
  • Strong knowledge of banking applications and several functional modules, such as securities trading, order management, settlement, corporate actions, credit, or payments.
  • Hands-on application development experience with Oracle PL/SQL in banking applications or products is valued.
  • Knowledge of Avaloq script, UNIX, Agile Central, Jira, and SVN is valued.
  • Experience working in large IT organizations and supporting mission-critical systems is valued.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.
